What is the Emotion Code?
The Emotion Code is an energy-healing method for finding and releasing “trapped emotions.” These are old emotional energies from hard or stressful experiences that never got fully processed. It was created by Dr. Bradley Nelson, a holistic chiropractor, and it’s built on a simple idea: unprocessed emotions can get stuck in the body and weigh on how you feel over time.
Here’s how it works. I use muscle testing to ask the subconscious mind yes-or-no questions, and the answers lead us to the specific emotion on an emotion chart. Then I roll a magnet down the governing meridian, a main energy pathway, to release it. The goal is to clear those invisible barriers so your body and mind can return to balance.
Can I do this virtually?
Yes. I see clients in person at Soul Sister in McMinnville, Oregon, and I work with people from afar too. Energy connects across time and space, so distance doesn’t get in the way. When we work virtually, I tune in to your energy and do the muscle testing on myself to find what needs to be released for you.
If that sounds out there, you’re in good company. Ten years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it either. But I’ve seen it work now time and time again.

What is muscle testing?
Muscle testing, sometimes called applied kinesiology, is a gentle way of asking your body (and subconscious) questions. I apply light pressure to a muscle while I ask yes-or-no questions, and I notice whether the muscle holds strong or gives way. I treat that response as feedback from your body about what needs attention, whether it’s physical or emotional stress. For me, the draw is that it bypasses the analytical mind and goes straight to what your body knows.
How does it work virtually?
I do the testing on myself. While I’m connected to your energy, my body’s response shows me what needs to be released for you.
Muscle testing isn’t a diagnosis or a medical test. It’s a complementary tool I use to guide our sessions.

I use a method called proxy testing. Since energy isn’t bound by physical distance, I can connect with your energetic field or subconscious mind from afar, always with your explicit permission. During a virtual session, I act as your proxy. I ask the yes-or-no questions and do the muscle testing on my own body on your behalf, to find the trapped emotions and energetic blocks that are ready to be released.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing practice developed in the early 1900s by Mikao Usui. The word joins “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life force energy. The idea is that this energy flows through everything, including you, and that a practitioner can help it move when it’s stuck. In a session, I channel that energy through my hands, with a light touch or just above your body, to help you relax and come back into balance. I’m Reiki Level 2 certified.
What does it feel like?
It’s different for everyone. Some people feel warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation. Others feel very little at first, and that’s okay. It took me three sessions before I felt anything. Then I felt a jolt of energy move through me. But many feel the effects in their first session.
Do I need to believe in it?
No. You don’t need a belief system or any experience, just a little curiosity.

What is sound healing?
Sound healing, sometimes called a sound bath, uses the vibration of instruments to help you relax deeply and let go of what’s weighing on you. I believe everything is energy, and everything vibrates, including us. When we’re stressed or holding onto old emotions, that energy can feel heavy and stuck. Sound gives it something to move with.
What instruments do I use?
Tibetan singing bowls have warm, rich tones that feel grounding.
Crystal singing bowls have clear, pure tones that ring out and fill the room.
Gongs create big, deep waves of sound that you can feel in your body, not just hear.
How does it work?
You can’t think your way through sound, and that’s part of the point. It bypasses the analytical mind and goes straight to what you feel. Many people notice the vibration moving through their body and their busy mind finally going quiet. I find it’s one of the gentlest ways to slow down, especially if you’re someone who can’t switch off.
What do chakras have to do with it?
Chakras are the energy centers in your body, seven main ones from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. Each one vibrates at its own frequency. When energy gets stuck in one, it can affect how you feel, show up, and connect with yourself. Because sound is vibration, it reaches those energy centers directly. I use the tones of the bowls and gongs to clear what’s blocked, so your chakras can come back into balance and energy can flow freely again.

What is aura clearing?
Aura clearing, also called aura cleansing, is a way to clear your energy field. Your aura is the field of energy that surrounds your body. I believe it picks up everything you move through: stress, busy places, other people’s moods, hard conversations. Over time, that can feel like carrying a backpack you forgot you were wearing. I use techniques like sound healing and Reiki to set it down, clearing what’s heavy or stagnant so you can feel lighter and more like yourself.
Who is it for?
Anyone. Some people book after a rough stretch, some after a week of being around a lot of people, and some are just curious. You don’t need a reason.
What does it feel like?
Many people describe feeling lighter, calmer, or clearer afterward. Everyone’s different.

What is intuitive life coaching?
Intuitive life coaching combines intuitive guidance with practical coaching to support real transformation. I use my intuition, along with what I pick up from your energy, to offer insight and help you see what’s next. I believe you already have your own answers, and my job is to help you hear them.
What happens in a session?
We use a combination of energy tools within the session, like Reiki, sound healing, and the Emotion Code, depending on what comes up.
What will I walk away with?
A clearer sense of what’s next, and a plan you can act on. Every session ends with a concrete next step, so insight turns into action. If you’re ready for a big transformation, we can work together over time, with support to follow through.
Who is it for?
Anyone who feels pulled toward a change, stuck between options, or ready for a fresh perspective.
Intuitive life coaching is a complementary practice. It’s not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice.
